Whether you have suffered an accident at work, in a public place or on the road, that was not your fault, Bathurst Brown Downie & Airey LLP can assist you.

Accidents at Work

Employees have the right to work in risk free environments, with adequate training and to receive a reasonable level of care from their employers. Recent Health & Safety legislation has increased the level of protection granted to employees, introducing laws aimed at preventing accidents, including laws about carrying heavy loads and the availability and use of safety equipment. If you believe you may have suffered injury due to your employer's lack of care, we may be able to assist you.

Accidents in a public place

If you have tripped on the public highway, compensation will usually be claimed from local authorities who have an obligation to inspect, maintain and repair roads and pavements. Sometimes, our roads and pathways are not maintained to a sufficiently high standard and unfortunately people are often injured following a trip on broken or uneven road and pavement surfaces.

Road Traffic Accidents

Whether you were driving a vehicle, which was involved in an accident caused by another driver, or were a passenger in a vehicle, or perhaps a pedestrian or cyclist, you may be entitled to compensation for any injuries or losses suffered by you as a result of another's negligence.
